Alice is back for the third book in the series. In this installment, character’s motive’s become clearer, while the mystery behind how Alice was brought to Wonderland deepens.

To be honest, this series, as good as it is, is not very full of content per book. As with most anime/manga, it takes a rather lengthy amount of time to get to even one plot point. This makes the books very easy and quick to read, but it is not going to give  you much more than a couple of hours worth of entertainment. In volume 3, we still see Peter White desperate for Alice to be in love with him, this time aided by his ability to actually change into a white rabbit. This actually leads to what I find to be one of the most annoying scenes. Staying overnight at Heart Castle, Alice is convinced by Peter White to let him sleep in the same bed as she, provided he remains in cute and fluffy bunny form. Of course he does not, but for some reason, this surprises Alice, even as she becomes enraged over it. Alice is not a stupid girl, so the fact that she expects a character that has previously shown himself to be nothing more than a creeper to actually remain honorable is beyond me. That being said, the rest of the book is good, so I do encourage reading it.

Overall, I give this book 3 ½ pages. It is a quick, fun read, but at times does get a little… long. In the end though, I do not regret reading it, or starting the series for that matter, and I look forward to reading further into it. Again, if you like this genre or are trying to get started into this genre, this is a great series.
